DONNA MAY LONDON

Keep shine at bay whilst on holiday – Donna’s run down of the best blotting powders

Blotting Powders – A million times finer than a ‘normal’ powder.  Use to take away shine and to diffuse large pores without looking overloaded and ‘caked’.

1. Nars  Light reflecting pressed setting powder Translucent -£30

I’m afraid the packaging won me over…and lucky it did as this product is so light it’s hardly there other than it picks up the light when you are dancing away under the glitterball!
2.Mishel Invisible Blotting Powder – £20

This lives in my Professional kit – leaves no colour at all on any skin tones, does the job perfectly.
3.Lord & Berry Touch Up Blotting powder -£24

Love the fact that this lady comes in 3 great shades, translucent, peach and banana – which covers all skin tones.

I also love the gorgeous vanilla type smell or is that just me that smells that?!
4. Code 8 Matte Velour – £32

Great for Oily skin, no light particles in this girl, she can mattify any shiny areas instantly.

Love the little drawer underneath that comes with a handy cute puff.
5. Lily Lolo Lemon Drop – £11

This is actually a colour corrector set powder, but I use it for blotting under eyes and on eyelids.

The yellow colour is super for counteracting any dark circles and for ‘lifting’.
6. Fenty Beauty Invisimatte blotting powder -£24

Does exactly what it says and comes in gorgeous fancy packaging..win win!

Thinking about buying it to give you brushes a new lease of life and wondering how to use our brush cleaner to do it?

Well, it's super easy! Just wet your brushes in warm water, then swirl them around in the cleanser. You'll see it foam up and dissolve any makeup residue right before your eyes.

If you've got some tough dirt stuck in your brushes, don't worry!! Use the soft rubber pad in the lid to gently massage your brushes, then rinse them well with water. After that, gently squeeze them dry with a soft microfiber cloth and lay them flat to dry. Plus, it has a lovely scent!

And if that doesn't convince you, make sure to head over to the website to check out the rave reviews its been getting since it went on sale at DonnaMayLondon.com
